Our Story

Safwan Bilal Academy, founded in 2020, aims to make Qur’anic learning accessible and enriching for Muslim women and children. What began as a small group has grown into a global community striving to recite beautifully and understand deeply.

Safwan — meaning pure and clear — symbolizes the transparency, sincerity, and brilliance of Qur’anic guidance.
Bilal — inspired by Bilal ibn Rabah, the noble companion known for his beautiful voice and firm faith — reminds us of the power of recitation, devotion, and calling others toward righteousness.
Together, Safwan Bilal represents a legacy of purity, clarity, and sound Qur’anic expression — values that define our curriculum and community.
